El Negreeto

Akon, a Senegalese American singer, songwriter, and record producer, released his fourth studio album, El Negreeto, on October 4, 2019, under his brand-new indie label, Akonik Label Group, in collaboration with BMG Rights Management. After Freedom, he hasn't released a studio album in eleven years. Farruko, Becky G, Anitta, and Pitbull make a few cameo appearances on the album, which is his first in the language. Akon oversaw the production along with a number of other producers, including Camilo Echeverry, Jimmy Joker, IAmChino, Mau y Ricky, Jon Leone, and Maffio. All tracks were mixed by Hiro "HirOshima" Oshima, A&R, and Matt Weiss.
