About Mirror To The Sky Album
The English progressive rock band Yes's twenty-third studio album, Mirror to the Sky, was released on May 19, 2023 by InsideOut Music and Sony Music. As a result of the passing of longtime Yes drummer Alan White in 2022 and in honor of whom the album is dedicated, they have released their first studio album with American drummer Jay Schellen as a full-time member.
The band Yes began recording the album shortly before The Quest, their previous album, was released in October 2021. Mirror to the Sky sees guitarist Steve Howe return to his previous role as producer, while some tracks have orchestral arrangements by Paul K. Joyce, performed by the FAMES Orchestra in North Macedonia.
The album was made available on CD, LP, Blu-ray, and digital formats. Some editions included extra artwork created by Roger Dean, a seasoned Yes cover artist.
