Douglas Jack Agu, best known by his stage name Runtown, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer who was born on August 19, 1989.

Runtown was born on August 19, 1989, in Enugu, but he spent some of his formative years there and in Lagos, where he completed his elementary education. He relocated to Abuja with his mother, who was employed by the Ministry of Health, when his father passed away.
