Mercy Chinwo

Mercy Nnenda Chinwo is a Nigerian gospel musician, singer, actress, comedian and songwriter. She started singing at age 8 in her church children's choir, she won the Nigerian Idol Season 2 in 2012.

Life and career

Mercy Nnenda Chinwo was born on September 5, 1990, in Portharcourt, Rivers State. She is the fourth of five children in her family(First daughter). She lost her father at a very young age. She is married to Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa who is from Delta State, Nigeria.

Chinwo released her first single, "Testimony" in 2015, and "Igwe" a year later  in 2017. Mercy Chinwo is a Gospel music Minister 

She is signed to Mercy Empire, EeZee Conceptz along with Judikay, Chidinma Ekile, Minister GUC, Esther Oji & Great Daniel

Personal life

She got married in Port Harcourt to Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa of Water Brooks Church Lekki on the 13th of August 2022.
